India's tech news, briefed.

5 stories. 15 minutes. Everything that matters in India tech and startups — every morning.

What is CatchTheBrief?

CatchTheBrief is a daily briefing covering India's tech and startup ecosystem. Every morning, we publish 5 sharp, story-driven summaries of the most important news — written in plain English, not press release language.

No paywalls. No spam. No fluff. Just the stories that matter to founders, engineers, product managers, and investors building in India.

Why I started this

I'm Rajneesh — I built CatchTheBrief because I was tired of reading the same India tech story rewritten across five different sites. The signal is real: a funding round, a regulatory shift, a product launch. But it's buried under SEO-padded headlines and press-release language.

The goal here is simple: surface the 5 things that actually mattered overnight, written like one person explaining them to another over coffee. Every brief includes the hook, the backstory, the key numbers, what happens next, and why it matters specifically for India — plus an editorial take, not a hedge.

Some days I get it wrong. When that happens, I'd genuinely rather hear about it than not.

How it works

Each night, the system scans India's leading tech publications — YourStory, Inc42, The Ken, MediaNama, Gadgets 360 and others — and pulls the most consequential stories. Each one is curated, drafted, reviewed against an editorial checklist, and published by 8 AM IST. Manual overrides exist for the days when a story deserves a personal take.
