Clinics On Cloud, a Pune-based health tech firm, raised ₹120 Cr Series A from UAE's Model42. The investment values the AI-powered health ATM maker at ₹600 Cr as it pivots to international expansion. The company will use UAE as a base to push into markets like Africa, the US, and Southeast Asia.
Founded in 2018, Clinics On Cloud has deployed 3,500 health ATMs across 200 Indian cities and seven other countries. The company has already screened over 1.2 Cr patients and caters to the Indian Army, Navy, and BSF.
Clinics On Cloud plans to establish its global expansion hub in the UAE, with initial market entries slated for Africa and Southeast Asia. This international push will test its model against local health tech players in these new geographies over the next 12-18 months.
🇮🇳 Why This Matters for India
For health tech founders in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, Clinics On Cloud's global ambition suggests a viable blueprint for taking India-built health solutions overseas.
The Take
Indian deep-tech health firms will increasingly leverage the UAE as a launchpad for African and Southeast Asian markets. Expect other players in diagnostics and telemedicine to announce similar international expansion plans within 12 months.
